Born in Madrid, she finished her dancing studies at the Spanish Conservatoire with Honours. She came to England when London Studio Centre offered her a two-year scholarship. She danced with Vienna Festival Ballet for three years performing soloist roles such as Swan Lake: Pas de Trois (Act I), Cygnets (Act II) and Spanish Princesses (Act III); Coppelia: Swanilda`s friends.
She joined Southern Youth Ballet in 1996 as a guest soloist and has performed principal roles such as Sugar Plum Fairy, Swanilda; Lise in La Fille mal Gardée and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. A few years later Lorena started coaching the advanced dancers of the company and she has also become one of the producers and chorerographers.
